Hi,
I set up a personal account a while back but have been invited to a business account as an employee - which I was directly logged in until I was kicked out after an update.
The business owner would prefer that I was logged in on my own email address but I can't seem to connect with the invite I was sent.
Currently, I am using my personal account and simply depositing the sales money straight into business owners account but this does not give them the sales records they require.
How to rectify?
Hello @michellew1212! Your employer can set you up as an Employee on their account - and give you permission to sign in with your own email address as a mobile employee. However, you must give your employer a different email address so that they can invite you. you can't convert the account you created to a mobile employee.
If you don't have another email address or you'd rather not set up a new email address (Gmail is usually a good free option) our CS team can close your current personal Square account - and free up that email address for you. You do need to call our support team to let them know you need to re-use the email address, it's not something we can do here in the Community or by email! The steps to call in are here.
