How do I safely take credit cards through email for a reunion?

We are sending an evite and offering the option to pay by credit card. How can they safely send us their CC number so we can manually enter in our square account?

Hi, 

You can create an online store (I'd recommend the new online store with weebly as its more customizable and still free, but the old square store should be fine too if you tickets are simple). The person receiving the evite would click on the link to pay online (if they want to) and it would take them to the payment page. They select their reunion ticket type and enter their card details and it's all processed securely by square.

Hi @reunion50, if you're a business setting up an event for a reunion the suggestion from @Dancer2016 might be a good option. Or you can send each person a Square Invoice and they can enter their card information themselves to pay online.

However if this is a personal event you're setting up for your own Square Point of Sale isn't the best option. You could consider using something like Cash App (or a different app) to receive money from your family for free!
