I just purchased an Ipad for my Square Stand. Does it require cellular or does it just run on Wifi?

Wifi is all you need aslong as you have wifi in your business.  Make sure you get the current iPad and not a Pro or mini, they don't fit.

If WiFi is available at your location, then that is all you need.  If there is no WiFi you'll need the cellular model.
