What model iPad is it? Likely with that iOS version it is an iPad 2 or an iPad 3 or an original iPad mini.  Looking into it more I don't believe that you will be able to run square as it requires 10.0 and later.

Hello, I just so happen to come across this topic and if I may sir, on apples ios 9.3.5 which is also no longer supported by apple! (Yes not even apple will provide support to this device if help was needed, you'll find that your device is out of luck and past its use im afraid. Not only did 9.3.5 provide a strong patch to a major vulnerability, being that apples currently on ios 13+ that device is of 2015-2016. I strongly recommend you consider either a newer device which can be of at its base still supported by its maker? This isnt to say apples "Bad" apples more less likes to take to title of *Luxury brand* which they're good devices until their Not good, if you catch my drift. Id further love to give you a mountain of solutions in devices and lr hardware that would honestly be under $100 but I dont know how that might comes across around here but for future knowlege know that Apple does this ALOT, furthermore they have 0% interested in changing their minds in future either.
