I changed my bank account and it says awaiting email confirmation, am I supposed to get an email to verify that I changed it or am I waiting for them to deposit and withdraw money from the account

When you are verifying your bank account we will send an email confirmation. If you don't open the email and click on the link within 24 hours you will have to re-enter your bank account information.
After you click on the email confirmation we will start the process of verifying your account. This is the stage where we will make a deposit of a penny into your account and then withdraw it.

How long does it take to get an email from you. I changed bank acct yesterday and got that message and still have that message
@purplecarrotmar You should receive the verification within a few minutes. If you haven't already please check your spam/junk folders for the email.
As Chad mentioned above you may need to go back to the Dashboard to re-enter your bank account information because the link expires after 24 hours.
I have been trying to confirm my new bank account for days.......I hit the button to re-send the confirmation email, but we never get an email. Neither to our inbox nor in our spam folder. I really need to change this link so we can use our new account and close our old one! Please help!

Never receiving verification email. Have tried on laptop and mobile. Tried a dozen times. Nothing works.

Is your Dashboard giving you an error when trying to link your bank account?
If so, I would recommend contacting our CS Team directly, so they can this resolved for you. They will be able to look into this a bit deeper to find out where the disconnect is in your verification.

I have never received an email from square, I click to resend but it never is sent. I have verified the email exists, but still no email is received.
Did you check another folder in your email program? Sometimes I think I have not gotten an email an it is in my Social tab, Promotions Tab or a Spam folder when I use Gmail. I also forget I sort emails automatically and if they have let say Invoice in the subject it goes right to a Folder I setup for invoices. Just an idea to check other folders.
