I cannot seem to pair more than one iphone to a chip reader at one time.

My husband and I operate a small tearoom (type of small restaurant).  We generally take payment at a guest's table, using our iphone.  His iphone is currently paired to our one chip reader, and I cannot seem to pair my phone too (without removing his).  Can't more than one phone be paired at the same time?  Or do we really each have to have our own chip reader?

The Square contactless reader is a one to one pairing for security.  So, yes, you would each need your own reader if you each want to be taking payments at the same time.
