The message you are trying to access is permanently deleted.
Is there any way to reset the sequential numbering on invoices? Someone on our staff was messing around and used 123456789 as a fake invoice number, now Square defaults to that sequence +1. Our actual invoices are only 4 digits long.
Please advise.

The Invoice ID is automatically assigned to each of your invoices to help track them numerically. The next time you create an invoice, you can input a new 4 digit number. The sequential numbering will reset.
For example, if you create a new invoice with 12340, the next invoice would auto-generate as 12341. I hope that helps!
Does this need to be done on a computer or some other device? It doesn’t seem to work from my iPad.
