Instagram has just launched a "gift card" button and link on profile page to sell e-gift cards. Several other stores like mine are selling already, but I can't seem to find a link ANYWHERE on Square to set up, nor on Instagram's "action button" (there is no Square link). I'm selling product through my catalog on Instagram through my Weebly/Square online store- any hints???

To set up gift cards for your business on Instagram:

Go to your Instagram profile.
Tap Edit Profile.
Under “Public Business Information,” tap Action Buttons.
Under “Select a Button,” choose Gift Cards.
Select a partner to sell your gift cards. If you haven’t already set up your gift cards with a partner, follow the instructions on the partner’s site.
Add the partner link for the gift card service you selected.
After you’ve entered the website, tap Done.

I dont have the gift cards option on my IG business profile either and have gift cards enables on squareup.

I'm sorry to hear you're not seeing the gift card option on your Instagram profile. I'd suggest reaching out to Instagram Support so they can look at your account and advise on how to activate this button.

We don’t have instagram action buttons for Square Gift cards. Any update on this? It was available a year ago and has since disappeared.

We do not have the gift card action button either. I've been looking through the Instagram help and there is no mention of it, only the Order Food, Book Now, and Reserve actions. I did find this notice on the facebook help center: "This feature is slowly rolling out and may not be available to you yet."
