How to draw against a donation?

I received a $500 donation that is to be used for free meals for COVID-19 front line workers. How can I put that credit into the Square POS and draw against it over time as these orders come in?

Hey VBB - Square hasn't implemented a way to leave a credit on the POS to draw from. The best solution to load a Square Gift for $500 by comping it or applying a 100% discount so you don't double your books. You can use that gift card until the balance depletes.
