How to create sub categories

I am wanting to create sub categories for selling my goods, but I'm not sure how. For example. I sell bread Fri, Sat & Sun. I have small and large sizes. I also only have a quantity of 5 each day. I would like for a customer to pick "Friday" then click "small" then click "quantity 1". how do I accomplish this?

I would set up your category as "Friday Baked Goods"

Item Name would be "Bread Variety"

Then under the item you would have variations: "Small" & "Large" under each of those variations you can manage inventory and set the slider to TRACKING and then enter the amount you have on hand "5".

This will accomplish what you want, just don't forget to adjust your inventory to zero on your friday category at the end of the day.
