I just got a barcode scanner and have it all connected with our ipad. When I scan a product with a price variation it cannot find it. I have different sku for each variation so not sure why it is not found. I tested with a product that has no variation and it works fine. Any ideas?
We had a similar problem a while ago. We tracked it down to simply being a case of capitals/non-capitals in the variations. Our bar codes are case sensitive and we had mistakenly used the wrong case in some of the variations. I can't think of any other cause off-hand.
Thanks you for the info. My sku font only uses uppercase and numbers, and I matched all items.

No I have not solved the problem. The scanner picks up the barcode, but the app on the ipad does not find the item. It reads a non variable item just fine. Any ideas?

I'm not able to see your Account Specifics here in the Community but I'd want to look directly into the iPad and App version you are using to take payments.
You should be running the most recent version of iOS 12 (if you do not have the option to update your iPad to 12, your iPad may no longer be supported.)
Could you give me a run down of what version of the App you are connected to and the iOS version you're running so we can troubleshoot this further for you?
