How does a customer leave a review

I have my square linked to my Etsy shop and made a hand delivered cash sale. How does that customer leave a review of his purchase?

Hey there @Deedeeshc 👋

 

In this case, since the transaction was handed to the customer and was paid for in cash unless you processed the cash sale for this one transaction via Square POS your customer will not get a receipt and for that reason will not be able to leave a review.

 

I would suggest getting in touch with the customer and letting them know that you will be sending a receipt for their sale and for their review. Then after you have followed the instructions provided by @Goldneye you should be able to send a digital receipt to your customer in which they will be able to leave you a review for their purchase.

I did send him a receipt by txt right after the sale, but he said there wasn’t anyway to do a review.

Jumping in for @jj Ortiz here @Deedeeshc. You can take a look at the receipt yourself to check if there's an option to leave a review. In your Dashboard, head to the Transactions tab and select the transaction you sent this receipt for. Next, click on the blue hyperlinked receipt number to view the public receipt. Let us know if you can see the review option from your end!
