How does Digital Item Delivery work?

Hi, I'm trying to figure out how to properly upload my files.

When I signed up for Square it said that I could upload other media types. But other media types like the digital guide shows, is gone, and I can only upload pictures. I have my default item set to Digital and I'm using Square Online but I cannot upload an .svg for some reason. Originally, my site minister panel did say that I could upload other media types but that's gone now and I haven't changed anything.

If you can tell me what is going on that would be great.

I plan to use the QR code feature to advertise locally and grow organically.

HI, hopefully this Square Support page will help.  Digital will need to be sent manually.

That doesn't really help. I guess what I'm trying to say is, I read on the website that Square would host 160mb of my files per listing, and that I would have to manually approve each individual sale.

What I'm not understanding from that page, is if Square is delivering the content, because that's what I remember reading and I cannot find that information anymore.

I don't understand if Square hosts my download or if I'm going to have to find another download delivery method. Essentially, they download my item every time they load the page, so I'm trying to understand what goes on there or why I would need to host it on another website when I want it all self-contained. I don't mind having to approve the email that goes out. But I don't want to use some third party site like google drive. Square is already providing the download every time they load the page, is it not possible to use the square hosted domain to deliver the item? Again, I don't mind sending the email myself.

Because if that's not possible, I'm bassically paying 18 dollars a month for nothing. I just want some support. I've trieed emailing them to no avail.

Thanks. I'm abandoning SquareUP. This platform is useless to me as a digital artist. It's not hosting my files and I'm paying 18 dollars for parking my domain. I thought it was a hosting solution running on payment processors. Great solution for selling in person, horrible solution for digital delivery. Even more horrible for selling in person with digital delivery.

My .02 cents.
