How do you apply discount to certain items in a invoice

Hi All

I'm starting a direct sales company and when my rep's submit orders I want to send them an invoice for payment the problem is every item wont fall under the comission rate so I need to discount the item individually. is this a function you can do in the invoice? I tried to create variations but then the inventory will be off. I can't even modify anything manually to change the price to include the discount

please help!

I have this same question- why can we only apply item discounts using the table or smartphone at the POS and not during the invoice option and/or on our desktop?

At this time it's not possible to apply separate discounts for each different item in an invoice @beautyrebel216 @godspeedhollow!

We also need to be able to apply discounts to single line items at checkout for promos on certain items, but not the entire ticket. Otherwise we'll have to ring them up separately and make it take longer for the customer experience.
