How do view a report with a list of customers and the amount they spent?

The title of this thread has been edited from the original: reports

I want what should be a simple report.

I want to see sales summary at the top - this i can do.

I want to see a list in purchase order of all the customers and the amount they spent below that.

This should be straight forward but I can only get there online by clicking on each row to see the customer - I need to be able to PRINT this so having to click to drill down is not really an option.

Surely this is not unique to me.
