How do i create a modifier group with the same price point? for instance, we have a modifier list of toppings for .50¢ regardless of how many toppings they choose. So, 1 topping is the same price as 3 toppings, just smaller amounts to equal the .50¢ How do i create the modifier set without pricing each individual topping?
I understand that we could just use "toppings" as a modifier for .50¢ and write what toppings are needed in the notes box but this slows down the ordering process. any help is appreciated.
Hello @Hula_Cowgirl! When you create a modifier you can enter a price point for each one (e.g. $0.50) or you can enter the price as $0.00.
So as a workaround you could set the price for each topping to $0.00 and then create one additoinal modifer called 'Toppings - $0.50'. At checkout you or your staff can select the 'Toppings - $0.50' modifier and the specific toppings to be added to the order. I hope this helps, I agree that being able to set a price for a group instead of per modifier would be useful!
Is there a better option to this issue yet? For an online sale is there a way to automatically add the modifier with the pricing if they select any of the other modifiers? What is the likelihood that the customer doesn't check that box and pays online for $0.50 less?
