Where do I check / how do I know an EGift Card purchase has been made? Not the in-store redemption, but the original purchese amount? I do not see a link from the dashboard.

Hello @FriendlyNatives, this is a great question!
You can view your eGift Card sales from the Transactions tab of your online Dashboard. These sales will appear along with your other transactions:
- Sign in to your Square account online.
- Click Sales and then click Transactions.
- Use the date selector to choose the date range.
- Keep the Payment Methods filter on All Payment Methods or Card.
- Your eGift Card transactions will be listed with your other transactions but the item name will be eGift Card.
Keep in mind if an eGift Card sale is refunded, you’ll see Refund instead of eGift Card. In that case, click on the transaction to view the receipt and you'll be able to see that it was an eGift card transaction.
You can also download the Transactions CSV report (click Export at the top the screen) to view these sales. In this report you’ll see eGift Cards sales will have in the Source Column.
I hope this helpful, but if you have any other questions please let me know!

Helen, thank you. I am not sure I am clear. From my dashboard, if I click on SALES, then GIFT CARDS, it shows the plastic cards that we have been using. Will the new EGift Cards show up there as well?

Hello again!
The Gift Card section you're referring to is only for configuring your eGift Card order page, and ordering physical Gift Cards at this time.
I do see how it would be helpful to see eGift card sales on this page and I'll share that feedback with the Gift Cards team!

I have one client that has 2 different e-gift cards through Square, and we've used them before, but now I cannot find her name or any trace of them.
I also sold a new e-gift card a few days ago and I have the transaction for it but cannot find it via email used to purchase.
Help!

Hey @Colorandfluff and welcome to the Community.
I moved your post to an existing thread that goes over how to view your eGift card purchases under Transactions.

Where can I see gift card sales? I don't see them on the Orders page. Shouldn't I? I know there were two cards purchased in the past 2 days and I didn't get any sort of notification. HELP!! And thank you!

I'm looking for a receipt of the actual gift card purchase, not a purchase made with a gift card.
