How do I transfer physical gift cards and honor existing gift cards?

I have recently sold my business.  The new owner has his own Square account.  He wishes to honor the gift cards that were previously sold on my account.  Is there a way to transfer the gift card data to his account?

you would need to contact customer support. I believe they have a way of transferring ownership on the backend or of canceling them and then starting them at the new owner.  they can do this for other companies outstanding gift cards when they onboard to Square so I'm sure they can do it within Square.
