I want to sell a brush for .25c and the same brush 5 for a $1.00. How do I tie both transactions to the same tracking numbers for that one item?
Hello @colorsofglass,
Thank you for your post.
To make sure I am understanding, are you asking to track the same exact item 5 times within a transaction, or are you just trying to track the overall sales for each individual item in your library, for a given period?
Let me know by replying to this thread. I'll keep an eye out for your reply.
I want to sell the same item in two different ways. In a single form( 1 ea) at one set price(.25 cents) and in a second form 5 ea for $1.00. I want to set up a sku bar for each form and have them both feed from the same inventory.
At this point, I am thinking I will need to split the inventory of the same item between the two sku's.
You are correct! You would have to create one item for the single 25 cent price, and create a separate item in your library for the "5 pack" item set to $1. You can then assign the different SKUs to each item to differentiate them in your reporting.
The only issue I see here is when adding in the "5 pack" item, our system does not know how to deduct 5 separate items from your inventory. You would have to keep a separate log of this, or just do the calculations manually.
Hope this helps, let me know if you need anything else.
