[The title of this thread has been edited from the original: How do I add sales tax rate to a receipt?]
Hello,
I can’t find where I can add sales Tax Rate on Receipt. The Customer Receipt prints out only with line: Sales Tax, but no Tax Rate.
Thank you.
Welcome to the Seller Community @IslandGypsy! The sales tax rate should be visible on your printed receipts, as long as you have sales tax applied to the items being purchased. You can edit and see an example of what your receipt should look like to customers in your Dashboard.
Could you possibly share a photo of what you're seeing on your receipts here so we can take a closer look?
Hello,
thank you for a reaching me out. I will attached our store receipt. How you can see there isn’t sales tax as number 7%. Only: sales tax.
Hey @IslandGypsy!
Thanks for your reply.
Did you manage to get the screenshot of what you're seeing?
I know that the percentage for any tax created will be shown on a digital receipt. Is your question whether or not it will show on a printed receipt?
Let me know!
Hello,
yes, I sent already week ago print screen, but still waiting an answer.
I attached one more time print screen how looks our store receipt in printed way.
Hm, it sounds like you may have sent in a photo to our support team instead of attaching it directly here in this thread. No worries @IslandGypsy! I think I know exactly what you're asking, and I have a suggestion for you here 🎉
If you'd prefer to do this from your Dashboard, you can do so right here!
It sounds like your receipt is calculating the sales tax, but you want something on your receipt to make it clear to the customer how the sales tax was calculated ie: 7%. A solution may be to make the name of your sales tax more descriptive, for example: "7% Sales Tax" rather than just "Sales Tax"
