at the following link to your dashboard there is a web link, that is the link they have to click on to start their account from. If they already have an account this won't do you any good.

the referall link looks like this https://squareup.com/i/4EE1B810 but that is mine so don't use that to share to your friend, copy and paste from YOUR dashboard so you and your friend each can save like $30 in fees.
