How do I set up my reader to take donations?

I am new to Square and am finding it confusing on how to use it.  I only want to use it to accept donations so I don't really need to put anything in the inventory.  How do I set up the magstripe reader to accept donations and allow folks to choose the amount they want to donate?

If you're going to be face-to-face, you can enter in a custom amount with the app.
