How do I set a two day sale with a discount button? Or if a customer is ordering an item what or where do they go to get the discount?

Are you looking set up a discount for your Online Store? If so, I think the best fit for you would be to create a promo code. For step-by-steps on how to set this up, have a look here: Create and Manage Promo Codes for the Online Store.

As you set up your promo code, you'll see the option to choose a quantity as well as a specific date range for availability. Once you've saved the code, your customers can apply it on the Checkout screen when they place an order in your Online Store.
