How do I see the total number of an item sold in a given time frame?

I need to figure out how to report the number of car washes done daily and total for the year

Good news! You should have these reports already available in your Square Dashboard, @Thecarwashinc. Without knowing how you have your Item Library set up, it's difficult to say what the best report to reference will be in order to parse out the number of daily and yearly car washes.

I would say to first take a peek at your Category Sales report - if you have different types of car washes saved as Items, but keep these Items in a "Car Wash" Category, this report should give you a total number.

If you don't have a "Car Wash" Category, but instead simply have different car wash types listed as separate items, your Item Sales report should be helpful. If neither of these reports is what you're looking for, you may want to consider creating a custom report.
