How do I print a ticket for my employee and customer?

[The title of this thread has been edited from the original: Print 2 order tickets: One for employees with description and one for customer without]

 

I own a drive-thru coffee shop, and I would like to print a receipt for the customer (just basic with no description) and another for my employees with the description field (which contains the recipe for the item) for each item. That way the employee gets the recipe for each item with every transaction. In summary, I would like the ability to print the description field of the items that are being ordered for my employees. Is that possible? Seems simple enough.

Welcome to the Seller Community. Great question!

 

Once your printer is connected to your device, follow the steps below to turn on Order Tickets:

  1. From the Square app, tap the three little lines or the down arrow at the top of the Square Register
  2. Tap Settings > Printers.
  3. Select a printer and toggle Order Tickets and/or Order Ticket Stubs on.
  4. Select categories to print.
  5. Choose whether ticket numbers will be auto-assigned or manually entered.
