How do I disconnect my business off my square reader and use it just for personal use yard sales?
@Arucker If you log out of the app and then log in with your personal information, you may have to pair the reader again, but otherwise it should work with no problem.
@Arucker ;
Also depending what type of store or how you use the reader for business, you might just be able to setup a personal account, use your personal cell phone along with the app and connect that way. You would need to Square accounts though, 1 for Business and 1 for Personal with different sign in credentials. Since I use Square Stands and my store, I could download a Square App on my personal cell phone or Tablet and just borrow a reader for an after hours payment for something nonbusiness related. Say someone wanted to buy my personal tractor that I was selling through a yard sale and was picking it up after business hours, I just Bluetooth the reader to my cell phone and use my personal Square account to do the transaction if the person did not have cash. You just need to have the personal account setup and functioning a day before hand at least especially since some people I see on here are not getting approved right away and accounts are pending review. The square reader itself is not linked to the business, but the app and your log in credentials are what connects to the reader and to let square know where the funds will go. Hope this helps.
