I send out periodic coupons to customers. When they come in to make a purchase and show me the coupon, I have no idea where to enter that information so that it notes the coupon was used and it takes the correct amount off of their purchase.
You could create a Discount and name the Discount Coupon June 2022 for example. Then have the Coupon June 2022 discount be set to what the coupon is. For example if you sent out a coupon for 25% off, when a customer comes in just select the 25% coupon in your discounts. That is how I do some coupons I have out. I look at the coupon and make sure the item is in their cart and apply the discount or I have a 25% off coupon for 1 item, and I select the highest priced item in their cart and apply the discount.
By naming your discounts differently for the same amount you can track which advertising is working and which is not. I found out that my Resort advertising was not working but my Local advertising at the same place was. So I saved the Resort advertising and will try new ads in other places.
