How do I create customer groups in my customer database?

Hi everyone! I noticed that within the customer database, there's a sort option called "grouped in."

This leads me to believe that you can segment customers based on assigned groups.

My question is, where does one go to creat groups and then assign customers to a 'group.'?

I can't find this option, but it would be super helpful for us. We are a mobile business with repeating customers and multiple markets. So being able to analyze our business at a regional level would be fantastic.
