How do I comp an item when the Comp feature is enabled but it's not a choice for me to select?

I will regularly be using the comp feature for product samples as I ramp up my business.  I will also use the comp feature when I need to send a replacement order when items are broken during shipment.  I have tried to follow any directions that I have found via support, including going to items>add item to cart>select comp...and there is the problem, there is no "select comp" in any drop down or to select.  Comp is enabled in my dashboard settings.

Hey @thechocochick - You're following those steps within the Point of Sale app correct? If so, after you add the item to your cart, you have to tap on the item itself. Once you do, you'll see the option for Comp Item.

 

 

If you're still having issues, I recommend sending screenshots of what you're seeing and we can take a closer look for you.

OHMYGAWD! You're amazing!  Apparently that was not obvious to me even after reading the directions.  I was trying to pull down on that pull down menu that says "Add Customer" or "Clear Items"!  Thank you!
