How do I add a flat-rate fee to a sale in point of sale?
We need to add a flat-rate fee to some sales - like a delivery fee. I see how to do that with a "dining option" tax rule. But ours is a flat-rate, not a percentage. How would I set that up? It is applied to the whole sale, not an individual item.
I think the simplest way would be to create a “Delivery Fee” item that isn’t inventory tracked, and place a brightly colored button of it in a convenient location for staff to remember each time they ring up a sale.
