How do I access the register to make a new sale?

I believe their issue is not being able to create an item from the REGISTER window, which we WERE able to do over the years until the latest updates over the past two months. Now you MUST go back to ITEMS to create them. And each item, at times, must enable taxes for that item. The default setting of TAX ALL ITEMS sometimes falls off. Don't know why and neither does Customer service.

The simplicity of Square no longer exists and a SIMPLE mode is not available... as the default use to.

Hi @ChartreuseBarn, thanks for pointing this out and sorry to hear about the trouble that the recent update has been causing. Some other sellers were encountering similar issues and raised their concerns in this thread. See Sean's post for the latest developments.
