How can a customer leave a note for me when making a purchase on my online store?

The title of this post has been edited from the original: Merchant Notes for Online Store Cannot be Found

 

Do you know how you find the notes to merchant field now that no report can be exported under "Orders"?

@READBookBus When you're logged into your Weebly account, you'll click Settings Checkout > Scroll to the bottom until you get to Advanced Settings and click the Edit button to the right. You'll want to make sure this option is checked:

 Hi @KainaluPTA Thanks for reaching out! That thread is very old, so I moved your post to it's own thread to make sure it get's the attention it deserves. 🙂

 

With our Weebly Online Store, customers can still add a merchant note on their orders for you. The notes will show up on the Orders section of your Square Dashboard as well!

Where is the "Note to Merchant" at checkout?  Do I need to add it?  If so, how?

Thank you!!!!!  Im so glad to have learned how to turn this back on!!!   with the store software update this feature has been turned  off by default ( even though I was using  it before ).... I did  not realize (this was off)  until I my first wave of orders, since covid,  and sadly I had to handle over 30 complaints because they couldn't give me the extra info I required.

Hi, I'm trying to find if it's possible to add an area on the retail site where the customer can provide customized information for products, i.e., initials, names, photos, etc.  Thank you!

Stepping in for Valentina here.

 

I can't say for sure what's on their roadmap but I haven't heard of this in particular.

 

If it ever does become available- we'll be sure to update the thread!
