How can I mark a customer paid if they pay via a method other than Square? For instance, I have a client who prefers to pay via Venmo which means her Appointment Details show a balance due.
You will want to make it paid as "Other."
If this is not on in your account, it's easy to enable it.
Just open the Square Point of Sale App and click the three lines > Settings > Payment Types > Toggle on Other Payment Types
When you receive a payment through other sources, you can choose this payment type straight from your Appointments App when checking out. You just have to make sure it's enabled to use it.
