How can I make it so a specific type of appointment cannot be scheduled without a consultation?

Hi All! 🙂 I am trying to make it so a client cannot schedule a certain type of appointment, unless they have completed a free consult appointment. How do I do that? TIA!

Hi there @TidyinTimeLLC! 🧹 You have a couple of options here that I can think of...

The optimal way to do this would be to make it so that the specific service so that it is not bookable by customers.
 

  • Start by heading to your Services Library > select the service to edit it > scroll to Price and Duration on the Edit Service page > toggle OFF the Bookable by Customers Online option:



    Another option would be to make it so that you must accept or decline all appointments.

    • Start by heading to your Appointments settings > Online Booking Preferences > select Business must accept or decline all appointment requests.
