The title of this post has been edited from the original: Re: Edit your photos in Square Marketing (+ a revamped home page)
Sorry but I can't find any help. I've uploaded my nutrition information in picture form (dislike the sites form for this) and while my cookie photos are just fine, this isn't. You can't see the whole image (chocolate chip cookies has it uploaded but it's not right) and no matter if I make the images bigger, smaller, better quality, lower quality, you simply can't see the image properly. God why does this have to be so hard? The product images uploaded fine and I've worked with images for 20 years.
Sorry to hear about the frustrations with uploading these nutrition facts, @Anni.
You can change the image ratio by clicking Settings > General, then scrolling to Layout. The most important thing to keep in mind here is that the images should all be the same aspect ratio. If they don't already share the same ratio, you can use an online photo editor like pixlr.com to change this.
It sounds like you may already have image editing software that you could use, since you've worked with images for so long - any image editing software should do the trick! I hope this helps, but let us know if other questions come up.
Hi,
I appreciate you responding. So I tested out every single 'ratio' in the list, even hit publish on the site page and then reloaded the site each time. I have no idea what ratio does to these photos but all the options had virtually zero effect on the photo display.
I’m not sure if this is what I’m experiencing on my shop but I read that you can add a white bg to to a portrait/ landscape photo and crop to square. I use Snapseed to “expand” the bg with white. You can use black as well.
