How can I add section for custom items.

How can I add a section to add the details of what the customer wants when ordering a custom item.  I have tried looking for the answer but I cannot find it.

HI, would required text box questions work?

Modifier, Text Box, Make Required, set Character Limit (up to 150 characters available)
