I sell crafts on Square Online, and I offer several variations of the same items. What's the best way to let people know there are other options from the shopping pages?
Hello @SparkleandSpill and thanks for your question. There are a couple of ways to show variations online:
First, you can mention in your description text that your items can choose from options.
You can also create a collage photo that would show different variations in your image.
And more importantly, you can set up Variations and Modifiers in your item so that your customers can choose from a drop down menu or click on boxes to choose their options for your items.
Setting up these Variations and Modifiers is easy. Go to your Dashboard >> Online >> Items. When you create or edit an item you will see the place to set this differences in your listed item.

See this post about when to use Modifiers and Variations.
Here is more info about Modifiers.
I hope this helps answers your question. Happy selling with Square ! ♥️ 🔲
I've got the variations created, I just was trying to find the best practice to let people know that there are options beyond the one that's pictured.
I appreciate the response!
Sure you're welcome! I think just having a drop down box is enough to alert someone to make a selection; they won't be able to proceed to checkout without first doing so. The only other option I would do is edit your picture to include a smaller inset version that shows the option. For example, your main pic could feature one version (or top seller) but if you can edit the image to place a smaller pic in the corner to show a different version...of a collage together of all the choices (although a nice large dominate image often features the item better).
BTW, if your site is the paper flower mason jar bouquets...they're really great and I think the images look super just as you have them!
