Full iPad register + separate iphone for cards only? *Integrated*

Due to Covid-19, processing customers is much slower.  We have a small store and I'm trying to find a way to move customers faster without adding a second full register (as we don't really need that).  

Is it possible to have your full register/cash drawer going plus a separate iPhone with credit card/debit only function?  This would enable us to process people separately from our cash desk.  It would have to be integrated as one account/one sales total so that we just balance out on our register each day and it includes both.

Hey @RofT 

You can absolutely have as many devices, in any combination, all hooked into the same account & location at the same time.

So you can totally set up an extra phone/ipod/ipad/terminal/register taking whatever payment methods you'd like, in addition to your regular register set up!

If you're using a phone, you'd just need an extra Card Reader (Chip & Contactless is recommended), and just download the Square POS app, sign in with the same account, and you'd be good to go.

Just instruct whoever is handling that device to only take Card payments, and you're set!
