Exporting Modifier Data?

I have a legacy system that includes modifiers for several items which are really just inventory-counts of larger purchases that include discounts) so a four pack of four different items gets rung up as a four pack, modifier a,b,c,d. When exporting data is there any way to get those modifiers as individual items? it's tough to maintain inventory and planning for production without them (last weekend we sold over 300 packs up to 12 items a pack) 

if I sold 100 of item a, and another 100 of item a in packs, can I get a report that shows me every time item a shows up, no matter if alone or as a modifier for a pack?
