Every few minutes Square is automatically turning the option to tip off. Why?

Mid-morning, Square stopped offering customers the option to tip.  I went into settings and turning tipping back on (I had not turned it off). A few minutes later, the option automatically turns off again.  Can someone tell me how to fix this problem?  It's exhausting.

We too are having this issue today.  First it would not let us log in.  It also got rid of our hours and is not not consistangly allowing for tips ;(

Mine has a 10-20 second delay with every item touched, keypad turns black at times, and other times it just keeps restarting on it's own. Lost a lot of money today and probably some customers

Tipping issue resolved.. but now it won't connect to the printer or chip reader. tried re-starting to no avail. this is as of 7:35PM eastern time... so right now, we don't have the ability to print any bills/receipts.

No error messages. Just reader and printer won’t connect. But seemed to have resolved itself after a while.. it appears the “stand” reconnected by itself and resolved everything.

I have also experienced with a full reset of the iPad while using the Square Point of Sale app (white) after the update a few days ago. I was lucky enough to go to settings and select revert to the previous setting and looks like that had fixed the issue.

 

Not sure what's going on with this last update, but it's more of a downgrade than an update.
