Emailed receipt has old date

I had to resend a receipt to a customer and it has an old date on the bottom, but I cannot find where to edit it.  Where do I look?  Thanks

We can clarify this one! Square receipts are automatically stamped to the time-code in which the transaction was taken, meaning that the receipt is registered to the exact time the transaction was completed. There is currently no way to edit a time on a receipt or backdate it to a previous time.

 

If you are concerned that your receipt truly is reflecting a wrong timestamp, we would recommend flagging it over to our Support Team. They'd love to take a look and see where the issue lays.
