E Giftcard redeem question

I have a client with a $100 e giftcard but the balance is $170. They want to use a credit card to take care of the remainder of the balance. I entered split amount, ran card, he tipped and when I went to enter the gift card it says the transaction has timed out and been canceled. But now the appointment is greyed out like it’s been processed and won’t let me try to cash it out. Help, Can I fix this without the card or am I just screwed?

Hmmm. What do you see when you go to Square Dashboard > Reports > Transaction status?
