Dynamic display of documents

I would like to dynamically display a document when the user clicks on date button, or selects a date from a drop down.  I can upload the documents and just want to link the correct document to the date entered by the user to display on the screen.   I'm new to Square and can't seem to find any info about this.  Can someone help me?
