I'd love to offer my clients the convenience but it looks like Square requires you be based in one spot - or at least not many spots. I'm an equine bodyworker and travel to my clients; they are ALL over. It doesn't seem like Square would be very user friendly for this sort of business. If a client wanted to pay with a credit card, wouldn't you have to enter his/her address as a location?
Hello @Nimbus! Welcome to the Seller Community.
Square is actually great for mobile businesses! We have a number of food trucks, personal trainers, and contractors that are always on the go that use Square! You can always set your location as a mobile business.
You would never have to enter a clients address just to take a payment. Square uses the location services on your device to track payment locations. All you would need is a reader and a device to take a payment! 😄
If you have any questions on how to get started please let me know. I would be happy to help.
Thank you! I could find nothing on the site that mentioned a mobile business setting so your response was key to my decision to try Square.
