Does anyone know if there is a way to return items purchased and then refunded to inventory?

We are a bar so if one of our bartenders charges the wrong credit card, we issue a refund for those items and then re-enter them so they can be charged to the correct customer. When we issue the refund, it doesn't appear to be putting the items back into inventory. Does anyone know if this is a setting we can adjust or just another system quirk?

When issuing a refund there should be a prompt to restock items or to skip restock.

 

Do you see that screen in your refund process?

We see it and select it however, it does not put it back into inventory. When we do inventory the next day, we are always off the exact number as the refund.
