Different Clock In/Out Permissions for Employees and Commission only staff

I need to have my hourly employees clock in and out on the register - not the app (since that lets them clock in without physically being in the building) Figured that out in Shifts but I also have around 10 other commission only staff members that work off sales and I need to track their sales for payroll but it is forcing them to also clock in- legally I can't make them do that since they are contractors and I also can't just leave them clocked in 24/7 because it clocks them out. 

Closing the box that asks if they want to clock in every time they ring up a transaction is a pain in the rear and also sometimes doesn't attribute the sale to them- it will put it under untracked team member because it logs them out if they don't clock in...How can I set only specific employees to have a schedule and clock in and still track sales and commission for the other staff?

Unfortunately there's not yet a way to exempt staff from clocking in/out. This has been a pain for me because I have salaried staff who don't need to clock in, yet they either have to continually dismiss the pop-up or clock in and add unnecessary data to my timecards.

For my business I tell salaried staff that they can either dismiss the box or clock in, whichever they prefer; if they clock in then I just have to ignore those timecards. I know that doesn't work for you due to the legal issues, and unfortunately I can't think of any other workarounds. 

Ideally, there'd a be a toggle on each employee that lets us choose whether they have to be clocked in to use the POS. When staff punch in their PIN to use the register, Square would know whether that staff member is supposed to be clocked in. If it is an hourly staff member then it will ask them (or force them depending on your settings) to clock in before they can start a transaction, but if the PIN is associated with the commissioned or salaried staff member then they can go through without the clock-in prompt. 

I really hope this is a feature that Square can accommodate soon, it seems like such a small thing but it would make a big difference.
