I’m still kind of new to this and have only run a few credit cards using swipe method. Anytime I’ve tried to run debit cards it shows as declined and when I enter it manually it gets to where you enter date and won’t let me type it in. What am I doing wrong?

This doesn't sound right, and very frustrating.
Can you try deleting and reinstalling the app? As long as you do not have any payments taken in offline mode. Then run the payment, and let me know if that works.
