I have added a couple of custom fields to customer information but they don't seem to appear at checkout. What am I doing wrong?

Whenever you added those checkout fields, did you re-publish your website?
Any changes you make need to be saved & your site needs to be published again, so your customers can see the updated information.
Please let me know if that doesn't do the trick and I will circle back.
Yes, the site has been published since the custom fields were added.
