I provide parcel pick-up and drop-off at my store. I am trying to set up something in Square that will enable my customers to go online to my website, choose curbside package pickup (leaving their information of course) and then texting when they get to my store so that we can bring them their package. I'm familiar with the curbside feature (somewhat). My conundrum is: (1) when I try to create an item for free it still requires their payment information during checkout; (2) if I try to offer it as a service it won't show as an 'order' and go to my POS; and (3) in either of these two scenarios it's not shooting it to my POS. Is that because there's technically no transaction to show? So, in a nutshell, what is the best way to offer my customers free curbside package pick-up?
