Contactless chip reader problem.

My chip reader has stopped working, disconnected from my tablet and when trying to reconnect it, no orange lights will flash!  Extremely frustrated and annoyed right now!!!

Stupid question but we'll start there.  Is the battery dead?  try plugging usb in to charge it.

My base unit is always plugged in because if I attempt to use it without it, it will disconnect, always has since I've had it.
